Landslide! An entire tract of woods disturbingly close to the shoreline was clear-cut last year behind the Portland House on the Eastern Promenade. And now, the area is fenced off and signs are posted. The dark-green fencing is practically invisible to wildlife, and my dog actually ran nose-first into it trying to follow the trail... How audacious for a building that should have never been allowed in this location in the first place!
